Are you feeling resistance and blockages in your life (and don’t understand where it’s even coming from)?
Has it felt challenging or downright impossible to follow your authentic passions in your life (because someone or some institution convinced you that you’re unworthy, or that following your light is a wasted, frivolous effort)?
I can relate completely. As I transitioned from employee to entrepreneur and embraced my life’s calling, I had to face all these narratives that blocked me from taking that action for years.
“You’ll fail. You’re better off staying in a secure job.”
”Who are you to do that job?”
”You need to put in your dues. It’s not time to do what you love yet.”
I also became aware of my attachment injury, noticing ways in which my attachment strategy was designed to keep me safe (but ultimately, was now holding me back from fully exploring and seeking out what was most meaningful to me at this time of my life). At the core, it wasn’t safe to BE myself or to know who I was, so for much of my life, I didn’t do the work of knowing who I am. Without that clarity, how was I to begin going after what I loved? I had to take time to first figure out what I loved and allow myself to love those things.
I needed to call upon high levels of support from peers, and skills like equanimity, resilience, perseverance, confidence, humility and resourcefulness
to take the leap and make the landing in my new career.
All of those skills and perspectives came through big time. But they still didn’t unblock me in certain areas of my business. I was suffering from painful procrastination that wouldn’t shake loose (and I couldn’t figure out how to break through).
However, as I took the leap, I uncovered something completely unexpected that actually moved the needle MORE than any of the perseverance, confidence, humility and other tools combined…
…and I want to introduce this tool kit to you in a complimentary Mindful Resource Compass Coaching Session.

“Since working with Jess, I stepped into a major role in building a company (something I never thought was possible) that now provides great work/life balance and true excitement. I’m more present in my relationships, and I beat myself up a lot less. I’m more willing to be an honest, authentic version of myself without obsessing about what people are going to think. Jess makes me feel powerful, calm, and loved and inspires me to shine. These days, I’m making choices based on new revelations brought up during our coaching sessions and reflection, instead of fear. I am more confident in who I am than I have ever been and have been using my voice and shining my light in the world. “

“Jess's mindfulness and business coaching has been the biggest blessing for me in 2020. Beyond just teaching me the Unified Mindfulness System (which is awesome!), she genuinely cares about my personal and professional problems and how I can use mindfulness strategies to get me closer to my goals. I feel more clarity in my vision, confidence in my mental toughness, and confident on my journey. 100% recommend Jess to every dream chaser, entrepreneur, and big thinking out there trying to do big things. You're the best Jess!”

“Jess’ impact on my life has been immense. Before I met her, I was caught up in co-dependency, living in cyclical patterns and denying my own truth. Jess helped me to see all of this with deep compassion and patience. She held my hand as I struggled to break free of my patterning, and believed in and celebrated with me at every new step into freedom. I have a lot of respect for Jess’ knowledge and guidance. She approaches situations with kindness and wisdom and really makes you feel like she’s on your team. If you need a compassionate guide to transition you into a better, more aligned life - she’s the one you want.”

“Jessica helped me successfully navigate two job transitions with great results. I was at an impasse with a long time employer due to compensation and culture. I needed help to pull the trigger and make some changes. I am not typically a “self-help” enthusiast, but Jess’s method is grounded and logical, and ultimately fit my needs perfectly. She helped me realize my value and convinced me to take the risk with another employer. While, the new employer turned out not to be a good fit, she helped me identify it as the learning experience that it was and try again. She coached me through the tough conversations I would face and gave me the tools to believe in myself and negotiate for what I needed. She showed me that it’s all about focusing on what you can offer while staying true to your own needs. She was a great advocate. My next move resulted in a 30% more compensation, increased responsibility, upward mobility, and even company-paid grad school. I am very grateful for her coaching!”

How the Resource Compass Works.
Define Your Resources
This is about identifying your inner resources and seeing what reliably drops you into feeling ease, reassurance, love, compassion, connection, forgiveness and grounding. I’ll guide you in a process of uncovering your own inner mindful resources. Perhaps its a memory, a place, an imaginary location, or even the way your chair feels beneath you.
This clarity is key in leveraging your inner resources, and is unique to you.
Not a Quick Fix
This technique and way of harnessing mindfulness is NOT a quick fix. It requires consistency, repetition and muscle development. Treat this like a gym workout. Why? If we’ve spent YEARS cultivating the muscle of resistance of self, of turning away from what makes us feel most alive and tending to the gardens of others, then it’ll take time to build the atrophied muscle of pleasure for yourself. By doing the reps, you’re familiarizing yourself with positivity and flavors of support, growing that muscle and increasing the self-acceptance, resilience and emotional regulation.
The Mindful Solution
I’m excited to share with you how to unlock this compass for yourself, so that you can move through any limitation, blockage, confusion or resistance and fully embrace your next big career move, job transition or get your passion off the ground. This practice can help you, at a foundational level, come to accept yourself more, trust your intuition more, and make space for your next big authentic idea to emerge. This is what it means to move from a truly resourced place in life.
Embracing Interdisciplinary Approach
By consistently exploring resources in your own body and mind (cultivating somatic awareness), and familiarizing yourself with these sensations using mindfulness and mindset techniques, you are GROWING the muscle needed in order to take courageous and loving actions in the world. You are growing the muscle of self-acceptance, self-love and playful curiosity that is ACTUALLY needed to live in a state of flow. And you’re doing so by interacting with movement, stillness, mental talk, attentional skills and self-exploration. This was actually the BIGGEST needle mover in my career development and transition into coaching, and I’m stoked to share it with you.
