It comes down to this:
Mindfulness is the roadmap for paying attention.
It’s the path and the outcome.
It’s the elixir for self-liberation, and collective health…
right at your fingertips.
I teach you how to harness mindfulness and your mindset
to manifest the life of your DREAMS
and to live a life of true contentment, regardless of conditions.
When I talk about liberation, that’s what I mean.
Not only that, but I share with you how to leverage mindfulness to heal and impact your relationships and community. This framework truly fosters personal and interpersonal growth, if you leverage it the right way.
This doesn’t start and end with YOU. Go further. Expand wider.

my method
Mindfulness + Mindset.
When I work with clients, we focus on these two components. This is the foundation of everything.
Why?
I’ve found that you can develop a relationship with your senses. With your entire experience. Accentuated by a deep, enduring clarity around who you are and where you’re headed in this life.
And that when you do, your entire life (your relationship with yourself, your passions, your relationships with family, friends, peers, your career, your health, your resilience, your impact, your quality of life) rises.
With the right tools, an elevated experience and lifestyle is possible…. and oh, is it delicious.
It’s from there that we identify habits (adaptive, maladaptive, and anything on the spectrum inbetween).
It’s from there we identify the habits you WANT to cultivate, to support with aligned momentum toward your specific goals.
And, it’s from there that we identify the mindfulness + mindset strategies to support habit development, habit shedding, integration of challenges and growth.
It’s from there that we move from awareness into action. We commit, and take the steps that create the reward states. We repattern from there, and soak into the reward states.
Is this you?
Do you ever feel like your emotions carry you away? Like you have no control over your actions once anger shows its face?
Are you triggered by certain situations or people in life, and no matter what intention you set, you can’t seem to figure out how to RESPOND skillfully in those moments?
Do you live predominantly in your head? Thinking runs the show, the moment you wake up, to the moment your eyes shut at night.
And, in order to slow the thinking or get away from yourself, you do things like: have a glass of wine, binge Netflix, scroll through your Instagram feed, embrace workaholism (I’m just your normal Type A!), chase adrenaline, drama bond with your coworkers, or [insert maladaptive coping mechanism here].
You’re not broken. Your environment is. You’re just a part of a society that’s training you to turn AWAY from the present moment.
If you think about it, we live in a culture that’s designed to tell us who to be at all times, what to buy, and what to pay attention to. Information saturation is the gross norm, and people and organizations steal your attention like it’s a full-time job (because for many, it is a full-time job). While society is building sand castles in the sky and enlisting you to join the masquerade, you have the power to liberate yourself from the system. Right now. In this moment.
Bottom line: YOU choose what you pay attention to. Period.
Unfortunately, it’s not that simple, right?
Personal development trainers, authors, employers - they can all make the claim that, simply put, you’re responsible for where your attention goes.
So, pay attention better.
But guess what: that’s reductive, and misguided.
It’s one thing to take responsibility for your life (and that’s HUGE… it’s vital in making any meaningful change and sustaining it for the long term).
It’s another thing to acknowledge that there are imbalanced power structures running the show. When you bring skillful awareness to these systemic interplays that wholly DEFINE the way you pay attention, you can begin to contextualize the way you see yourself, how others might be trained to perceive themselves (based on identity) and the kind of access that you and others have to resources and a particular way of life. This piece is about being ‘mindful’ of the causes of suffering in our world, as well as to the fact that these causes of suffering are not universally experienced by all the same way.
At a high level, you’ve been training for YEARS to turn away, to crave, and to pay attention in all sorts of maladaptive ways. You’ve had the help of industries in learning this mode of paying attention, this version of emotional regulation. It benefits their bottom line, but how has it been impacting your existence?
You’ve also been taught that if you work hard enough, you’ll achieve great things in life. Know anyone who’s tried healing modalities ad nauseam, with short lived results or no results? (Is that you?) There’s a reason for that.
Meritocracy (the idea that anyone can make it in this life if they work hard enough) is tone deaf, and it’s bullshit.
So naturally, considering all these circumstances that ACTUALLY impact the way you pay attention in this life…
Choosing what you pay attention to might actually feel impossible.
Great in theory, but, like, how?
I’m here to tell you that choosing what you pay attention to takes strategy. It takes a willingness to look back, to process your past. It takes social accountability, and a movement of people who are committed to ending systemic oppression (starting with leveraging AWARENESS toward collective, skillful action). It takes training and consistency. It takes commitment. It takes community, a safe container for you to process and distill your challenges, growth and create new habits in aligned company. It requires humility, and beginner’s mind. And, for many, it takes a robust support system. A coach to give you the roadmap and cheer you on every step of the way.

the program
The secret sauce of mindfulness can be distilled into these 3 skills.
Concentration.
Concentration power is a basic attentional skill that’s needed to be present-centered. It refers to your ability to hold your attention on an object of focus. The two main flavors of concentration are ‘durative’ and ‘momentary’ (and both types are significant). Durative refers to holding your attention in a restricted domain for an extended period (like focusing on the breath, for example). There’s also momentary concentration, which is marked by briefly but intently focusing on each sensory event as it comes up. Your attention might float broadly within a vast range of sensory experience, and you momentarily experience a moment of high concentration with each thing as it arises.
Clarity.
Sensory clarity is also a basic attentional skill that’s needed in order to be present-centered. This skill is marked by your ability to know the difference between the 3 core sensory categories: See (sight and mental image, i.e. visualizations; Hear (sound and mental talk, i.e. thinking); and Feel (body sensation and emotional body sensation). Awareness of the senses and building an adaptive, healthy relationship with sensation are key on the path of cultivating self-actualization and refinement of your ability to orient with the world around you.
Equanimity.
This is a by-product and skill of a mindfulness practice. Equanimity is a flavor of the way you orient toward experience, marked by an ability to hold the sensory experiences with non-judgment, compassion, full acceptance as well as awareness. With increased equanimity, there’s a decrease in craving (wanting more) and aversion (turning away). Equanimity is like a strong ship at sea: you’re the steady ship at sea, amidst the sunny, calm days, as well as the amidst the hurricane winds and choppy sea. You stay afloat regardless of the weather conditions.
