Mindful Impact
Building a Culture of Wellbeing starts here.
Organizational coaching led by Jess Lipman, Unified Mindfulness Certified Trainer and Coach, in support of greater resilience, emotional wellbeing, productivity and equanimous leadership.
Imagine a workplace beyond burnout.
This workplace can and does exist, one where teams (and the individuals who make up these teams) are THRIVING, and not just getting by project-to-project.
They’re treated like whole humans, with holistic goals, motivations, needs and challenges.
They’re contributing and innovating with energy, authentic curiosity and courage.
They’re collaborating with compassion, clarity and mutual respect.
They’re tapping into whole life balance and committing to strategic wellbeing practices that don’t limit collective results, but actually ELEVATE the work you put forth into the world.
The modern workplace is comprised of this dance between ultra performance and burnout.
Do any of these challenges resonate for you and your team?
✔️ Over-scheduled workdays. Overflowing meetings and tight deadlines.
✔️ Team players who say YES to incoming requests (when, really, the more effective approach would be to directly communicate and collaborate on manageable deadlines, expectations and deliverables).
✔️ Project management that doesn’t leave a lot of room for implementation (leading to 9-15 hour workdays that snowball into 60-80 hour work weeks).
✔️ Burnout symptoms, including fatigue, health issues, ambivalence, loss of interest in one’s role, and less effective or innovative.
✔️ Conflict avoidant: Afraid to have direct, authentic conversations with managers or managees in support of reaching performance goals or in support of professional development, leading to burnout behavior, challenging emotions and overwhelm.
✔️ An ‘always on’ mindset, creating a culture of reactive communication and false urgency (leading to burnout)
✔️ High turnover rate due to lack of mentorship, overwhelming project deadlines and lack of professional development.
If you can relate to any of the above, you’re not alone.
The question is: How can you support your team from both an individual and collective perspective, in developing the inner resilience, leadership skills, confidence, compassion and equanimity to move the mission forward sustainably? How do you truly end the cycle of burnout on both an intrapersonal and interpersonal level?
Mindful Impact Organizational Coaching aims to answer these questions.

Meet Your Mindful Impact Coach
Hi, I’m Jess Lipman
I’m a Unified Mindfulness Certified Trainer and Coach, founder of The Mindful Nest, Co-Founder of Being Resilient and editor-in-chief of Personalbrand.com.
I help people build the courage and inner resilience to make their greatest impact sustainably. My approach is holistic, weaving together mindfulness with attachment theory, parts work and high performance. My goal is to help you and your team tap into mindfulness, strategic wellbeing and leadership skills in support of amplifying their overall wellbeing, fulfillment and impact at your organization (without stalling out, freezing up or turning away).
I walk the talk. I have 15 years of mindfulness meditation experience and over 7 years working on my own attachment healing.
Not only that, for over 13 years, I’ve been working at the intersection of impact, personal development and digital marketing. I served as Managing Director for Brendon Burchard, the world’s leading High Performance Coach and NYT Bestselling author, as well as Creative Director for Jim Kwik, the world’s leading brain and memory coach and NYT Bestselling author. I’ve supported clients including Commune, Oprah Winfrey Network, Tony Horton and more.
I know first-hand what it takes to resiliently steward a mission and team forward in equanimous, adaptive and compassionate ways. No need to compromise your greater mission. Committing to this path and blueprint only makes you and your team more effective, skillful and well as you make big moves out in the world.
My Approach
The Core Modality
Unified Mindfulness
At the core of our training, we utilize the Unified Mindfulness system, which is is a science-backed secular mindfulness approach developed by Shinzen Young. It’s designed to help practitioners build the core attentional skills of concentration, sensory clarity and equanimity in a range of ways (including in silence as well as in daily life). It is used by leading institutions like Harvard and Carnegie Mellon for their research on meditation. This mindfulness system is optimal for organizations because it is secular, practical, precise in both structure and definitions, and diverse in its application scope. It’s essentially designed for someone who has no time to meditate, but wants the benefits of the practice. In the UM system, mindfulness is described as a threefold attentional skill set: concentration, sensory clarity, and equanimity working together. These 3 attentional skills are at the root of any mindfulness system, and the ways of practicing offered within this system make this skill-building endeavor highly accessible, modular and goal-oriented.

I feel more clarity in my vision, confidence in my mental toughness, and confident on my journey.
“Jess's mindfulness and business coaching has been the biggest blessing for me in 2020. Beyond just teaching me the Unified Mindfulness System (which is awesome!), she genuinely cares about my personal and professional problems and how I can use mindfulness strategies to get me closer to my goals. I feel more clarity in my vision, confidence in my mental toughness, and confident on my journey. 100% recommend Jess to every dream chaser, entrepreneur, and big thinking out there trying to do big things. You're the best Jess!”
— Timmy Bishop, COO of The Dream Machine with Charlie
“Jess makes me feel powerful, calm, and loved and inspires me to shine. These days, I’m making choices based on new revelations brought up during our coaching sessions and reflection, instead of fear.”
“Before working with Jess, I didn’t believe that I could have the life I so badly wanted. I was so accustomed to hiding my authentic self from the world and honestly...myself. Despite being professionally successful, I had no sense of direction or motivation because I was making choices in my life based on what I believed others thought was best for me. I would frequently wake up in the night with a feeling of anxiety. I had a million things to do, yet none of them really excited me. I never wanted to admit that I wasn’t happy. Deep down, something told me there was something more I needed to do with my life…more meaning, more purpose. And I didn’t even know where to begin to uncover this.
That’s when I called Jess!
Since working with Jess, I stepped into a major role in building a company (something I never thought was possible) that now provides great work/life balance and true excitement. I’m more present in my relationships, and I beat myself up a lot less. I’m more willing to be an honest, authentic version of myself without obsessing about what people are going to think. Jess makes me feel powerful, calm, and loved and inspires me to shine. These days, I’m making choices based on new revelations brought up during our coaching sessions and reflection, instead of fear. I am more confident in who I am than I have ever been and have been using my voice and shining my light in the world.
Instead of feeling like a victim of circumstance, I finally feel like the creator of my own life and it’s all thanks to the bright and brilliant soul that is Jess Lipman! If you ever get the chance to work with her - I HIGHLY recommend that you do!”
— Hannah H., Content Marketing Specialist, Minneapolis, MN
As someone with past trauma, the level of safety and curiosity I have been able to cultivate has been instrumental in my healing process. My work with Jess has allowed me to know myself better and I'm so grateful for it!
“Working with Jess both in virtual group meditations and one-on-one sessions has allowed me to finally commit to a regular meditation practice after years of trying to meditate. Our work together has allowed me to confront and clear my blocks around meditation. This may sound simple at first glance but it's actually quite profound - after years of avoiding certain thoughts and feelings I now feel comfortable sitting with it all. As someone with past trauma, the level of safety and curiosity I have been able to cultivate has been instrumental in my healing process. My work with Jess has allowed me to know myself better and I'm so grateful for it!
Furthermore, meditation no longer feels like a "should" but a "want" and I now look forward to my daily sit. I can’t speak highly enough of Unified Mindfulness (the system she works in) - it is approachable, dynamic and honestly quite fun!
If you find yourself with unhealed trauma, addiction issues, wanting to shift your attachment style, and/or hoping to get clearer on your goals and really commit to yourself, I highly recommend checking out Jess’s work and considering booking a one-on-one with her. I also find her weekly meditation groups to be deeply nourishing and a wonderful way to stay connected in this time of isolation. I feel so grateful for Jess and the work she is doing in the world!”
