What’s it really take to do your impact work mindfully + sustainably?

Whether you are feeling ready to move on from your job and start a new career or venture, or you are already pursing a new venture, or if you’re looking to elevate your performance as a manager, collaborator or creative in an organization,
it’s important to have your strategy in place.
When we talk about strategy, we often times think about business strategy, first and foremost.
Pros consider these factors …

What are the components that the new venture needs to have so that you feel on purpose, motivated and inspired? What are your revenue goals, and how are you planning to achieve those? What’s your business model, if you’re an entrepreneurial impact maker or service provider? What are the key steps to take to gain the most momentum as you start up and scale (and how do you know when to pivot)?

Answer those questions correctly, and you’re only 50% of the way there.

Your business strategy has no chance if you don’t have a solid Resilience Strategy.

Countless entrepreneurs, professionals and service providers dive head first into their impact work, and burn out or stall out FAST.
Why? Because they focus too much on the processes and implementing strategies they see in the marketplace, without intentionally or strategically preparing their inner system for the mental and emotional impact of running a business. This mistake costs people thousands of dollars in business investments and reparative measures (not to mention the TIME lost).

When we embark on a life transition and go after our authentic calling, we can (and will) hit our growth edge, and THAT’s what we need to prepare for.

✔️ Do you find yourself feeling anxious, fearful of getting in trouble, scared of rejection or financial disaster in your career and relationships?

✔️ Is it much easier to support others than to engage your OWN life, passions and authentic interests?

✔️ When you try new things are attempt to make your impact, do you go into procrastination mode, suffer from Imposter Syndrome, or find your hypervigilance kicking in? Do you go into fight, flight, or freeze response when you attempt to explore opportunities that feel authentic and meaningful to you?

✔️  Do you feel guilty, sad, resentful or fearful when you do attempt to look at your own life and make time for yourself ? Does it feel painful or unfamiliar?

✔️ Are you an impact maker (entrepreneur, coach, service provider, executive, manager or creative) who feels drained or misaligned, and not sure how to restructure your life for more alignment and freedom?

If so, you are not alone.

The question is: How can we do our impact work and really explore authentically, and do so with courage, inner resilience, consistency and confidence? What does it take to REALLY do what we’re meant to do on this planet, and do so with ease, flow, momentum and fully resourced?

This program answers that question.

8 WEEKS OF CURRICULUM

WEEK ONE | 5.4.22

Attachment Theory 101 for
Impact Makers

In this session, you’ll learn the in’s and out’s of attachment theory and how attachment injury can show up in our impact work or exploration. You’ll learn how to develop earned secure attachment, at a high level. You’ll learn a meditation technique designed for developing earned secure attachment, through the power of imaginative repair.

WEEK TWO | 5.11.22

Vision Clarity Development

In this session, you’ll have the opportunity to define your vision for what you want to make more space for (and what you’d like to let go of in your impact work, personal life and relationships). You’ll learn a meditation technique for amplifying this vision. This is great for generating energy, stoking the embers of your exploration and priming your inner system for setting boundaries and advocating for your vision.

WEEK THREE | 5.18.22

Whole Life Balance System

Now that you are aware of the thinking and body cues that block you from progress, the knowledge of attachment activations to look out for, as well as your vision in place, we’ll dive into the Mind Body Spirit Tool for systematic implementation. You’ll identify the core actions, rituals and steps you need to take consistently in all areas of life to effectively make your impact and retain whole life balance unique to YOUR needs. If you are tired of stalling out or forgetting to practice the things that give you greater energy and self-rejuvenation, this system will support you in cultivating consistency, momentum and devotion.

WEEK FOUR | 5.25.22

Mindfulness for Emotional
Self-Regulation

Emotional self-regulation is a key skill to develop as you navigate your growth edge. We’ll dive into a mindfulness approach to this! Setting boundaries, exploring, and embarking on new endeavors (like building a business) can be emotionally disregulating. We want to process emotions, so that we can build a positive relationship with all our emotions, let them move through us, and not let them spin us out, freeze us up or cause us to go into maladaptive reactions like avoidance or workaholism.

WEEK SEVEN | 6.15.22

Systems for Spontaneity + Flow

Systematizing spontaneity + play is essential when we’re running our own business or doing impact work (especially if there’s elements of our business that feel like WORK). This is where systems + flow meet. Play helps cultivate a desired emotion, one that empowers my clients to create, explore and enjoy their work --- so cultivating play is important to engage impact work free and clear of resistance. I’ll guide you on a spontaneity mindfulness practice (in motion and stillness), to activate insight, innovation. Not only that, but I’ll help you schedule this into your schedule for greatest impact.

WEEK FIVE | 6.1.22

Inner Harmony + Self-Leadership for Impact Makers

Your emotions and inner system activations can be challenging (and many of us want to rid ourselves of those parts). I’ll guide you in mindfulness approach (and emotional self-regulation strategy) to compassionately greet those arisings and take aligned actions forward that relieve the burden of afflictive thinking or sensations. In this module, we’ll explore. the questions:

What are our emotions communicating to us?

How can we use mindfulness to build relationships with these aspects of ourselves to overcome and transmute these inner strategies in service of your highest calling?

WEEK EIGHT | 6.22.22

Integration Plan

We’ll take time review the 8 weeks of resilience foundation development, and you’ll learn how to strategically and consistently engage the practices and systems for long term impact. We’ll discuss what to expect along the way, best practices for getting back on track, and more.

WEEK SIX | 6.8.22

The Pleasure Compass for Priming Exploration

The last few weeks, we’ve been setting up your inner system to cultivate safety in an empowered way. Practicing mindfulness and mindset work in these ways creates the conditions of reassurance, safety and emotional regulation. It’s from THERE that we can then explore. I’ll guide you in a mindfulness practice for amplifying positive sensations in your mind and body, and building a muscle for your exploration to thrive and take hold. This is great for cultivating and inducing your desired feeling states, but to also imagine desired outcomes.

I feel more clarity in my vision, confidence in my mental toughness, and confident on my journey.

“Jess's mindfulness and business coaching has been the biggest blessing for me in 2020. Beyond just teaching me the Unified Mindfulness System (which is awesome!), she genuinely cares about my personal and professional problems and how I can use mindfulness strategies to get me closer to my goals. I feel more clarity in my vision, confidence in my mental toughness, and confident on my journey. 100% recommend Jess to every dream chaser, entrepreneur, and big thinking out there trying to do big things. You're the best Jess!”
Timmy Bishop, Entrepreneur, Minneapolis, MN

“Jess makes me feel powerful, calm, and loved and inspires me to shine. These days, I’m making choices based on new revelations brought up during our coaching sessions and reflection, instead of fear.”

“Before working with Jess, I didn’t believe that I could have the life I so badly wanted. I was so accustomed to hiding my authentic self from the world and honestly...myself. Despite being professionally successful, I had no sense of direction or motivation because I was making choices in my life based on what I believed others thought was best for me. I would frequently wake up in the night with a feeling of anxiety. I had a million things to do, yet none of them really excited me. I never wanted to admit that I wasn’t happy. Deep down, something told me there was something more I needed to do with my life…more meaning, more purpose. And I didn’t even know where to begin to uncover this.

That’s when I called Jess!

Since working with Jess, I stepped into a major role in building a company (something I never thought was possible) that now provides great work/life balance and true excitement. I’m more present in my relationships, and I beat myself up a lot less. I’m more willing to be an honest, authentic version of myself without obsessing about what people are going to think. Jess makes me feel powerful, calm, and loved and inspires me to shine. These days, I’m making choices based on new revelations brought up during our coaching sessions and reflection, instead of fear. I am more confident in who I am than I have ever been and have been using my voice and shining my light in the world.

Instead of feeling like a victim of circumstance, I finally feel like the creator of my own life and it’s all thanks to the bright and brilliant soul that is Jess Lipman! If you ever get the chance to work with her - I HIGHLY recommend that you do!”

— Hannah H., Content Marketing Specialist, Minneapolis, MN

As someone with past trauma, the level of safety and curiosity I have been able to cultivate has been instrumental in my healing process. My work with Jess has allowed me to know myself better and I'm so grateful for it!

“Working with Jess both in virtual group meditations and one-on-one sessions has allowed me to finally commit to a regular meditation practice after years of trying to meditate. Our work together has allowed me to confront and clear my blocks around meditation. This may sound simple at first glance but it's actually quite profound - after years of avoiding certain thoughts and feelings I now feel comfortable sitting with it all. As someone with past trauma, the level of safety and curiosity I have been able to cultivate has been instrumental in my healing process. My work with Jess has allowed me to know myself better and I'm so grateful for it!

Furthermore, meditation no longer feels like a "should" but a "want" and I now look forward to my daily sit. I can’t speak highly enough of Unified Mindfulness (the system she works in) - it is approachable, dynamic and honestly quite fun!

If you find yourself with unhealed trauma, addiction issues, wanting to shift your attachment style, and/or hoping to get clearer on your goals and really commit to yourself, I highly recommend checking out Jess’s work and considering booking a one-on-one with her. I also find her weekly meditation groups to be deeply nourishing and a wonderful way to stay connected in this time of isolation. I feel so grateful for Jess and the work she is doing in the world!”

— Chelsea, Creative in Portland OR

“Jessica helped me successfully navigate two job transitions with great results.

I was at an impasse with a long time employer due to compensation and culture. I needed help to pull the trigger and make some changes.

I am not typically a “self-help” enthusiast, but Jess’s method is grounded and logical, and ultimately fit my needs perfectly. She helped me realize my value and convinced me to take the risk with another employer. While, the new employer turned out not to be a good fit, she helped me identify it as the learning experience that it was and try again.

She coached me through the tough conversations I would face and gave me the tools to believe in myself and negotiate for what I needed. She showed me that it’s all about focusing on what you can offer while staying true to your own needs. She was a great advocate.

My next move resulted in a 30% more compensation, increased responsibility, upward mobility, and even company-paid grad school. I am very grateful for her coaching!”

— Joseph A., Environmental Division Manager
Philadelphia, PA

“Jess’ impact on my life has been immense.

Before I met her, I was caught up in co-dependency, living in cyclical patterns and denying my own truth. Jess helped me to see all of this with deep compassion and patience. She held my hand as I struggled to break free of my patterning, and believed in and celebrated with me at every new step into freedom. I have a lot of respect for Jess’ knowledge and guidance.  She approaches situations with kindness and wisdom and really makes you feel like she’s on your team. If you need a compassionate guide to transition you into a better, more aligned life - she’s the one you want.”

— Jessica M., Co-Founder and Vice President, Oneness Tribe Portland, OR

  • Jess Lipman brings to you an unique fusion of personal development, holistic well-being and business experience. She has done attachment healing work, and uses all the systems offered in this program, to scale her OWN impact work sustainably. Her 1:1 clients also get powerful results by putting these tools into play in their careers and lives.

Jess integrates high performance, mindfulness, and attachment theory/repair in a targeted way to meet your needs as a professional, entrepreneur, creative, and whole human being.

Unlike many life coaches or wellbeing trainers out there who specialize in personal development, Jess has first-hand experience working in fast-paced, high-stakes creative work environments driving the mission forward in collaboration. She is a marketing specialist, business advisor, AND a mindfulness coach. She knows what you’re going through, because she has navigated it first-hand in both start-up environments as well as within 7-8 figure businesses.

  • Attachment theory is a psychological framework that makes sense of the ways in which you orient toward yourself and to the world (interpersonally). In theory, your attachment strategies as an adult may be determined by the way your caregivers (or important attachment figures) oriented toward you in early development. Attachment is adaptive and malleable. It can have a significant impact on our ability to be authentic with others, to go after our passions, to explore what’s most meaningful to us, to be willing to get our needs met in life, and to enjoy reciprocally meaningful relationships.

    I support clients in a two-fold way:

1.Psycho-education and self-mastery: Coming to understand the tenets of secure and non-secure attachment styles, so that they can move through the world with more awareness, compassion, and skillfulness.

    2. Attachment healing and being more secure: I offer a meditative and behavioral skills approach for the healing of one’s attachment strategies to ultimately develop earned security and expand one’s capacity to explore what’s most meaningful to them, and live a life of fulfillment, true belonging and emotional resilience.

  • Mindfulness is an awareness defined by the combination of attentional skills, unified: concentration, sensory clarity and equanimity.

Mindfulness is also a practice in building those 3 attentional skills.

I share with you how to apply mindfulness in all areas of your life for ultimate ease, clarity, creativity, and connection and secure attachment.

I work with a system called Unified Mindfulness, which is a science-inspired, secular mindfulness system designed by Shinzen Young that is designed to train your attention and cultivate deeper levels of happiness and clarity in all areas of one’s life. Whether you’re looking to increase productivity, access more joy and appreciation, elevate your concentration, or process emotions, this system can support you with your targeted goals. It’s modular and can be practiced while sitting, in motion, or during your daily activities.

  • No need to have a meditation practice in order to attend and benefit from this program. Whether you're a seasoned mindfulness practitioner or brand new to mindfulness, this is for you.

Please note that mindfulness can be practiced in daily life, while in motion, and even while doing ordinary activities (like jogging, showering, working, cooking, etc.) While many believe that mindfulness is practiced with your eyes closed while sitting on a cushion for long periods of time, that's not the only way to practice.

This program is for you if you have an interest in and willingness to practice mindfulness in your daily life with consistency.
